The Madison County Genealogical Society of Illinois is dedicated to connecting people through the discovery and preservation of family history. We promote cooperation among researchers, uphold high standards of genealogical scholarship, encourage publication and education, and work to protect records of lasting historical value. Through our programs, collections, and stewardship, we ensure that the stories of our ancestors are preserved, shared, and honored for generations to come. Our collection is currently held at Edwardsville Public Library.
